About Galaxies Reborn:
We are a group of long time dedicated SWG players who will be hosting a pre cu Star Wars Galaxies emulator using a state of the art server and a 1 gigabit connection.
We already have over 1300 members who recognize Galaxies Reborn as their new home, and work tirelessly to create that sense of 'community' we all miss from the old pre cu days.
The Galaxies Reborn Philosophy:
We recognize that starting a segregated SWG emulator devoted to only one of the original SOE Servers is doomed to failure. The initial playerbase is limited, restricted, and will not rejuvenate when natural attrition takes its toll. Because of this, we welcome everyone from every server.
Our policies are user driven. In order to maintain the most enjoyable server and SWG game play, we will use polls to determine what the user base wants, and program it as such.
You will not play according to what a select few decide.
Our Goal:
This server is our gift to you. Our plan is to resurrect the family we all knew and loved, before SOE (Greed Inc.) sent us all to the four corners of the digital world. We will not canvass for donations.
We will not let the server die.
Because we are all professionals in real life, we can, and will, keep this server going indefinitely. You have our solemn oath.
It is our hope that you join us in the early stages, not after you join a smaller server which could close down, and you have to start all over again from scratch.
There will be (non game breaking) in game item rewards given to forum veterans. This is why you should choose to join us today!
